Group versus Individual

Hey ladies,

I have been in individual therapy for 11 years. I am now considering doing group therapy also since I feel the need to belong and know I am not alone with the way I feel. Anyone been in group therapy that can tell me if it was successful or not.

i always liked group therapy. it helps me to know that im not alone in my troubles. i liked getting to know the other people personally also. we could offer alot of people out support and they could offer theirs.

Group therapy had really helped me, its where I've learned a lot of coping skills and it made me feel like I wasn't such a freak, that there are other people with the same problems as me and they are good people.  I really encourage you to find a group.  Many are free.
