So I started a blog because I have been feeling crazy creative lately but we have zero money lately (I am off of work and my husband is a SAHD) for me to buy things to be crafty. I found a blog site and started it yesterday. It took me all day and I was super excited. I asked my husband to take a look at it. For whatever reason, I asked him what he thought. Now, I realize, THAT WAS MY MISTAKE. If I did not want an honest answer, I should not have asked, right?! He said, it was "good" (which I read into as "crap"). He corrected some spelling mistakes (which I read into as "sloppy"). He also suggested that I not put my last name on it because I "might actually want a job someday" (translate to "too much and over the top"). As you can tell, I am kinda having a down day. I tried to set a password to the blog, but it is a paid feature.
I think its good you start a blog. Sometimes I know I can take feedback as criticism. He was probably just trying to help you. Give yourself some credit for doing something creative.
You can also restart your blog under an alias if you want.
