Hello ladies,

I just joined this group and thought I would introduce myself.

My name is Stephanie, I am a stay at home mom to 3 kids. A step daughter who is 8, and two boys of my own 6 and 13 months.

I was just officially diagnosed today with depression. I am looking for support, as I am having a very hard time with the diagnosis.

Hey Stephanie welcome to the group. I am 52 and I have chronic back pain, osteoarthritis, anxiety and depression. I receive great support here because the ladies know how I feel and they know just what to say to make me feel better. You have found the right place for understanding and support for you. There a lot of people on this sight with depression and hopefully can give yougroup hug some pointers on how to deal with it. Remember you are not alone.

Welcome, Stephanie.   Getting your diagnosis is a step in the right direction.  Now you can work on ways to manage the depression.  Support groups are very helpful.

you can get through this momma. you may have to be on some meds for it but it is very treatable. being a stay at home mom to three kids can be hard sometimes. i always went back to work after i had my children but my mil was able to keep them and i didnt have to pay her cause thats the way she wanted it and if it hadnt been for that i think i would have lost it. be sure youre getting time for yourself in your life where youre without the kids sometimes. let your so watch them while you go out for a drive or a walk. get plenty of exercise. you can do this hun!

Hi. I am Rina. I have one daughter who just turned 5 on Wednesday. I am in a long distance relationship with her dad. He will be moving back in with us on October. So pretty much a single mom. I think that's where a lot of my issues come from. I have depression and anxiety. Exercise does help a lot. And time to yourself. You need time to be you.
