Why God why ?

This is the question I am asking myself over DSS took my 22 month  old grandson out of my druggy daughter and her druggy drunk husbands home and sent me a letter asking me if I would take placement I said yes.So we set up a visit on the 13TH of this month and then yesterday I get a email saying sorry you will not ever be able to see your grandson for your daughter or her husband does not want you to see him. I have been praying faithfully to get him I went got bed,car seat ,booster high chair,stroller,sippy cups,diapers,wipes and all to be told that I am nobody again. God why ? NC doesnt care i am his grandma I have no rights ..I am just a woman who loves her grandson but cant see him..Please if you could write a letter to the Senator of NC and tell them that you believe I have been done wrong pleae I would deeply appreciate it. My name is Clara Dodd my Grandsons name is Robert Kye Carter (KC). The more letters they get the better chances I will have .Thank you .

 Wow, It seems like the state would want your grandson with a blood relative. It is a shame that his parents won't straighten up for the welfare of there son. I have seen to so many times. I am really sorry you are going through this. Have you considered a lawyer to see if the court will grant you custody? Why doesn't the mom and dad of the child want you to have your grandson? I can't believe they won't let you have him. They normally want to place them with a relative.

Sorry to hear about your problems with your dtr. Sounds like she's not a very good dtr. Not only is she not providing for her son, she's also denying his right to a healthy, happy life with gma. Is there a reason why she's denying you the right to take care of your grandson? A personal vendetta maybe? My mom and I don't get along, too, but I know she would be the best choice in taking care of my kids. I really hope you get him.

I would speak to a lawyer if I were you. It doesnt seem they should be following the requests of parents who arent ok enough to take care of their own child. If they cant be trusted to raise him right now, how can they trust their jusgement on where he should live? I hope you find a way to get him, good luck

There is a group called causes, where you can state a petition and it goes all over the world and then back to the ppl you want to get it.  Anyone can start one.  I think you should do that, I've seen ppl keep there homes and children through the power of public opion with CAUSES.  It only takes a little time and the response is wonderful.  I have to work to day but you can message me and I'll try to help
