Winter

Anyone else's depression worse in the winter? Lately, all I want to do is sleep, little interest in anything, feeling anxious and irritable, unnecessary guilt and feeling worthless. I've never been diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder. What helps alleviate it?

I hate the winter. I get way deeper into my depression. They say vitamin D helps. I used to tan when I lived in the midwest and that helped me. I think it was because of the warmth more than anything. They also have a light therapy but I know nothing about it. I hope you find the help you need!

I have depressive cycles in the winter and more mania in the summer.  Getting enough sunlight and vitamin d helps, keeping busy and eating right helps as well.  Exercise also helps.
