i have none and dont feel confident enough to make them. help!

It is VERY hard for me to make friends. I am 47 and don't know how! I thought friendships can last forever,but many faded away. Got busy w/my son,now he's in school FT,and I started feeling lonely. I was blessed to find a very nice new friend who lives right accross the street-we met bc both our kiddos have Autism. I suggest having a common interest/cause w/folks and you will get some friends. GL!
