Hi, Im a mother of 2 boys, 2 year old and a1 month old. Going through a break up and raising my boys on my own hit me pretty hard and so my doctor started me on Zoloft. I been taking it for 5 days, I don't notice anything yet. Is anyone taking Zoloft? How does it feel when it starts working? What are the ups and down side of it?

when i first started experiencing depression that is the med they put me on. it took at least a week for me to feel just the slightest difference. it usually takes longer than that. i didnt have any side effects with it. after a few weeks they might need to increase the dose. i hope it works out for you.

Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to feel any change with these meds . It can take 5-6 weeks to fully " kick in" they need to build up in your system . I hope it starts helping you soon.
