Fibromyalgia and depression

Does anyone on here know why these conditions are related?

What I do know is that pain causes depression and depression makes our pain worse.  I think its because pain lowers our serotonin

 i think it is also the pain facter causing the depression.

 Most likely from the pain. Normally when you are in alot of pain for a long time it will cause depression.
