She is the one on the right.
She was diagnosed with depression about 6 months ago, but really went downhill New Years to the point I took her to the er. It was frightening for both of us. She has been on new meds since New Years and she is a happy, goofy teenager again! She has been reading up on depression so she understands everything she has went through, will go through etc..
Last night she got this tattooed on her wrist, saying she is a fighter and this will remind her everyday!

Oh I was with her when she got it! Lol
My mom was the one on the left getting just the semi colon, as she has depression also.
I guess I was showing how she has dealt with it.. I should've pointed that out lol!
Thank you, I think of it as a positive thing also :)

That is awesome! What an amazing young woman, a great story, and well done through what must have been a terrifying time in your life. Good job, Mom! :-)

Yes she is and has been for 4-5 years, for other reasons. Her one friend did the cutting and she tried it. She has only done it a few times and really wants to quit so her therapist has offered a few things that other clients say have helped them and a couple seem to be working.fingers crossed

That is great to hear!!!
I hope everything works out for her....
It's hard watching them so young go through so much, and feel like there is nothing we can do for them
