Makes me feel lucky...

My 17 year old son's friend's dad just died this past weekend of stomach cancer. He was a super guy; it's so tragic. It makes me feel like I need to appreciate and enjoy life while I have it...Just felt like sharing. I feel so badly for the wife (she's 46) and 3 kids.

something like that does make you appreciate life more. i have a real hard time walking and can only walk short distances and there was a man with no arms and no legs in a wheelchair at the bassmasters classic coliseum this past weekend and it made me appreciate that i can still walk a little bit and that i can use my arms.

Yes, it takes something like that to make us realize the things we take for granted.

Just remember to hug your friends and family while you can. You can never go back in time and have a do-over.
