does your depression give you body aches?

I thought my body was aching from coming off effecor but I have been off of it for a week and my legs and knees are hurting bad. My depression is really bad right now. I know they make cymbalta for this but I have tried that and it fizzled out on me. I'm going to have to ask for something for pain if it doesn't stop because tylenol just isn't cutting it.

Why did you have to go off of Effexor? Are you taking a new antidepressant? I'm just tired all the time, no body aches...but then again I do take Cymbalta (wonder how I'd feel coming off of it).

Tylenol doesn't do anything for me. Can you take 600 of ibuprofen and a warm bath?

Have you tried peppermint or ginger tea? Both are cheap.

Yes it does. I use to take tramadal for pain but I'm not big on pain meds so I try to deal with it.

Hmmm, I can't remember. Seemed like I was in such a fog then.

No but my connective tissue disease does and it contributes to my depression.
