Does anyone take it to go to sleep?  How does it affect you?

I don't like to take stuff like that because it makes me jittery

I have done that before and it knocked me out cold.  I felt weird the next day too.  Didn't like it.

doesn't last long enough for a good nites sleep...plus it sends you to the toilet during the nite...well it does me...leaves a groggy feeling...i like one Advil pm...it lasts all nite & not as many dreams..

I don't have problems falling asleep but did while pregnant a couple times. OB suggested Benadryl. It helped, and I didn't have any negative side effects. A night-shift ER doctor I worked with said he took Benadryl and Melatonin (over the counter hormone your body creates to sleep when it's dark) to sleep soundly during the day.

I've taken it to sleep when I ran out of my regular sleep meds. It makes me feel drowsy in the am when I get up like I am out of it. So I don't take it anymore.

I am trying to avoid medication for sleep. I've been using lavender essential oil

My family dr checked out to make sure that it wouldn't interfere with my meds. He toldd that when I get to that point where I am not sleeping right (2-3 hrs or less) I could do about a week of 2 25 mg benadryl each night to break that cycle.
