with my son for his betrayal against me. I have had a long journey in grieving which included anger, with depression, sadness and crying along with prayer. And now that it is over, I am ready to move on. I guess in a way I forgive him. Sigh. I have also adjusted better with being alone. It just dawned on me yesterday that I have been celibant for 8 years. Wow. I was wondering how I did it. And then when I realized all the bs that was going on in my life, I understood how I did it - very much distracted. lol. Anyway, I am glad that I am able to let go of that hurt.

I did very well my first day of volunteering. I hope I will be able to volunteer again.

How old is your son & how did he betray you?

Forgiving is for the people who have been wronged, not the people who wronged us.  We need to let go to heal.  I have a hard time letting go of the hurt.

I still struggle with this as well. It is definetely a work in progress.

I know that the whole situation has been very difficult for you, hopefully forgiveness will help you get some weight off of your shoulders.

Glad to hear that you are taking steps to move forward! What was it that allowed you to forgive and move on?

Why do you post something that makes no sense since you give zero details? I find that very irritating.
