The best way to deal with a sore throat is to gargle with sea salt water, several times a day. I have also recently learned that constant sore throats and earaches, may be indications of underlying digestions problems and possible tooth infections.

HONEY!  Honey is a great natural throat soother.

Also chamomile tea, marshmallow root... I'm trying to remember the rest.

Thanks, my daughter has a horrible cough so I got her some natural honey cough syrup, but I have a horrible sore throat.

Warm some water and add lemon juice and lots of raw, local honey.

The already mentions salt water gargle

Warm tea with honey.

These will help your throat and her cough.

Yup yup!

There's a great natural "Throat Coat" tea made for kids too that if you put honey in, would be very great.

They sell these at most grocery stores:  http://www.traditionalmedicinals.com/just_for_kids_teas/product/176

Sure. Sea salt is just a bit more healthy since it has the minerals intact and no added iodine. Table salt will work in a pinch though.

Hot water with lemon & Honey, gargle with vodka (my sister in-law swears by it). Dr Oz says: Hot water with baking soda (if you can handle the taste)
