Here's a quick and easy way to see where your state ranks in terms of adult and child obesity. Just click on your state on this interactive map and see your state's score:

Where does your state rank on the list? I live in New York, which is #36 for adult obesity, but #17 for childhood obesity.

I'm surprised that New York is that high for childhood obesity!

Anyone else?

#9....I could rant and rave all night about South Carolina.  Needless to say, we have our work cut out for us...

It's the only place I've ever lived so I know nothing else. I just want sidewalks so I don't have to run on the edge of the road. Is that really so much to ask?? hehe

I'm in Florida and we're 36th as well. Apparently we're tied with N.Y. Adults at 25.1% and children at 18.3%.  I think most of those children live in our area.  It's very sad.  I see these kids that are obviously overweight, not "baby fat" or "nearing a growth spurt" and I see what their parents feed them.  **shivers**

North Carolina is bad!!!  I'm shocked.  10th for Adults and 11th for childhood obesity.  Scarey!!!
