So I feel tired alot and I am not pregnant. What type of vitamins/supplements should I take?
Should I take a multivitamin or something more specific to help me have some energy?
B vitamins are good. Also I would have blood work done to see if you have any kind of deficiency. I know lack of iron can make you tired. Not saying it is, but a thyroid problem could also be to blame. Being tired can also be as simple as not getting enough fluids as well. Try starting with a multi and drinking lots of water during the day. If you dont notice an improvement within a couple weeks, I would see your doc. Chronic fatigue usually notes an underlying problem.
sooo helpful! I'll do it. Actually everytime I've gotten my iron checked, they had said it could be higher it was like borderline okay. And I KNOW I don't drink enough fluids especially not enough water. It just makes me feel full and often nauseated. I have no idea why but I really have to take your advice.
there is a thing called "lydia pinkam" not sure on the spelling anymore, but I got pregnant both times on them! they're natural and no side effects per say, I mean anything can but it beats paying thru the nose for a doctor and all that. it's worth a try.
I'd see your doctor, first, IMHO, to make sure there's nothing wrong.
A multi-vitamin is good, but you might want to add a B complex to it as they don't usually have all the B's in there, or they're at low levels. You could also add extra B12. Gingko is known for it's energy giving properties, as well as Royal Jelly is. That's just off the top of my head; you might want to google it.
The B vitamins, like everyone has said, are a good idea. A multivitamin for women might not be a bad idea. I would also take the advice some have mentioned and go to the doctor if you don't start feeling better a few weeks in to taking vitamins. You could be low in iron, have thyroid issues, or maybe even a vitamin D deficiency, which is more common than you think.
