I lose a lot of hair daily as well, and my doc also says it's not my thyroid. I have noticed that the longer my hair is, the more I seem to be losing.
Maybe your hair stylist has some ideas that could help (like Nioxin shampoo & vitamins).
You may want to get a different thyroid test done. Get the whole thyroid panel done. For instance T3, T4 and TSH. If you had just TSH done it could be a false negative. T3 and T4 along with TSH are much more accurate.

Did you just have a baby? Sometimes you lose hair post-partum.
I was losing hair by the fists-full for about a year and a half. It wasn't until I had a health crisis last winter that I had more in-depth testing done and found out I have a cluster of auto-immune disorders, and very low vitamin D. I stopped losing my hair once I started taking the medications for the auto-immune business and vitamin D supplements, but I'm not sure which actually caused the hair loss to stop.
Check the products you're using in your hair. I used products in the past that have literally taken my hair clean out. The types of shampoo, conditioners, hair sprays, etc where damaging my hair and taking it out. I used to use "medicated" shampoos for my psoriasis and they were EXTREMEMLY damaging to my hair, not to mention it made my scalp condition worse. EWG has a website that lists hair products with toxic and harsh ingredients. You may want to check that out.
Glad these ladies have some good ideas as I have none! Good luck mama!
