Lunches for us??..

soo i really want to lose a few lbs, im power walking everyday and im eating a bit better, the only issue i hve is i dont know what good, healthy low calorie lunches are to bring to work. 

for breakfast i always have oat meal or special k cereal with yogurt instead of milk, and a banana, 

but what baout lunch ? any ideas ladies ?? thank you !

I love love love medi veg sandwich its so yummy, and healthy for that I do wheat flatbread, fresh tahini hummus, tomato, spinach, red onion, banana peppers, nutritional yeast, and light balsamic vinaigrette on top. I also love a loaded veggie pita whole wheat pita wrap filled with spinach, olives, mushrooms, red onions, pickled jalepenos, pineapple, oranges, tomato, black pepper, nutritional yeast, and vinegar rolled up together. it sounds weird, but it's so good!

Don't think 'low calorie'... think 'high nutrient.'

Veggie wraps... homemade veggie soups... leftovers from last night's healthy dinners... salads with protein (nuts, fish, steak, chicken)

What do you like eating?

Anything with tortillas, sandwiches are good if you choose the bread and filling carefully to lower fat and sodium and up your protein. Salads with chicken or tuna are good options. There is nothing wrong with milk, just choose a lower fat or fat free version.

I like veggie soups, veggie sandwiches on whole wheat flat bread, baby carrots, fruit, nuts, and I could go on and on!  I have something different each day!
