I'm getting super discouraged (like normal, it is a vicious cycle for me). I'm doing CrossFit this time and I love it. I can feel myself getting stronger but I literally cannot SEE any changes (hell the scale has gone UP 3lbs). I was an athlete since I was 12ish and been over weight for 6years now. So mentally I can "tackle" each WOD but physically I can barely handle half of the workout.
I am so discouraged even with the support from the box owners and others here. People notice a difference in my dh who eats anything and everything an has been doing CF for 4 weeks with me (he has maybe 20-30lbs to lose at most).
I could really use stories from those who have been in my shoes! I have been at this for 6years and I am at my heaviest ever right now. As much as I want to lose the weight I just cant get past this mental block.
