I'm sick of oatmeal every morning for breakfast and need some other healthy ideas. One thing...I can't eat eggs.
Every diet or food plan I've ever attempted has been de-railed by this one issue. I'm not allergic, I'm sensitive. That means I can't eat just eggs (scrambled, fried, poached), or dishes where eggs are too close to the surface or the main ingredient (french toast, meringue, Hollandaise sauce), but I can eat things with eggs cooked into it (pancakes, bread, cake).
Occasionally I'll do peanut butter toast (low-fat Skippy and low-cal wheat bread), but that gets old after awhile, too. Ideas please!
What about fresh fruit and a toasted sprouted muffin? There's all kinds of other hot cereal besides oatmeal. Check out our local natural and health food stores. There's also yogurt and you can mix it with granola and fresh fruit or eat it plain. Breakfast wraps are good too. You can put things inside like potatoes, bacon and veggies (minus the eggs). If you like smoothies, those are great for breakfast as well. Crepes are another good option and can be stuffed with just about anything you can imagine.
LOTS of great ideas!

Great idea Alyson. I know Bob's Red Mills carries a big line of hot cereals. If you have an Xpect/ Mark store near you then you can get them at a competative price. Also, here a link for quinoa porridge http://www.draxe.com/recipe/quinoa-porridge/
