As you know I had surgery a month ago and was on exercise restrictions.
Well at my post op appt, I got the go ahead with fitness walking, short periods of biking or elliptical and can do yoga as long as I'm not over stretching my lower ab area :)
Still need to wait on lifting weights but that's ok since yoga is a very toning exercise. So just wanted to share my happiness!
I did gain 10lbs the 2wks after surgery but pretty sure some of it was due to swelling. I had to really adjust my food intake since I was used to being very active and eating more calories. I did lose 5lbs just by reducing calorie intake but man that was hard...lol Being healthy is hard but so worth it.
