Posted by   + Show Post
Getting your little one to eat more veggies can be a tough job but it doesn't have to be. We asked 50 CafeMom members to take  the One Giant Pledge to get their family to eat more vegetables and gave them a free coupon from Green Giant to get them started. With Green Giant, vegetables are picked at the peak of perfection and frozen or canned fast to preserve the simple goodness nature intended!

I get my kids to eat more vegies by buying what vegetables I know they will like. My kids favor the mixed vegies and green beans and corn, just to name a few. So I make those most often and I have one vegie with every dinner. For what they dont like I buy the V8 fusion to make up for it.

I put them on their plate ;)  There are certain veggies I know some of my kids won't eat, so those nights I always make two.  We have veggies with every dinner.

I always make the kids try new thuings daily explaining to them how our taste buds change all the time. Something they may not have liked last week may be something they love this week. Also cooking it or serving it diffrent ways!

I now only make fresh or frozen veggies with our dinner. My kids acctually like veggies and fruit so they aren't picky and I can just add then to the table :).

find more ways to cook fun veggies. Less meat in meals and lots more veggies. I need to lose weight and have brain tumors so need to watch more of what I eat.

Aside from basic corn or frozen mixed veg, mine will eat some veggies raw, like carrots or pea pods. Others he will eat if there is sauce for him to dip, like ranch dressing with celery or raspberry vinaigrette for raw spinach.
