Posted by   + Show Post
Getting your little one to eat more veggies can be a tough job but it doesn't have to be. We asked 50 CafeMom members to take  the One Giant Pledge to get their family to eat more vegetables and gave them a free coupon from Green Giant to get them started. With Green Giant, vegetables are picked at the peak of perfection and frozen or canned fast to preserve the simple goodness nature intended!

I try to serve veggies I know they will eat as often as possible. We usually stick to salads, green beans, corn, peas, carrots and broccoli.

Monkey see monkey do.
I also blend them into sauces and pasteries.
Making it fun and work too. I get my dd to prentent she is a giant and she has to eat her tress!
Also getting her to help perpare the food helps !

We offer a lot more vegetables, some with a little dip. We also find that they like frozen over canned. They like salads with their favorite dressings.

One of my kids has severe SPD so with her I hide them in the familiar foods she eats. I always put them in non hidden form on her plate and she is starting to lick them...which is better than nothing. My older child LOVES veggies and prefers them raw or roasted on the grill.

My kids love their veggies. I don't have any problem with my boys eating their veggies. We eat some sort of veggie with dinner almost every night.

I was so proud of her last night. We went to a restaurant and she had salad bar. She topped her lettuce with spinach, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and had beets on the side. And cleaned her plate.
