Now that it is cold, I am turned off by salads :(

I just don't feel like eating salads when it is cold. Salads are good for us, though, Suggestions?

Sounds like you got some good ideas, i was going to suggest soups or adding some warm meat.

we usually just do salads on the side, or if it's the meal we put chicken on it (just from the oven) so it's warm.

Hot vegetables?

I find the same change in my appetite... I'm attracted to lentils and whole grains and hard vegetables marinaded in rich, flavourful blends... kind of like salads, but hot.

Same here... I also tend to drink less water in the cooler months.

Yes, I also have the water problem.  I try to make up for it with tea and coffee.

I wish it would cool down here.

Vegetable soup?

I am glad for the cooler weather. It was hot here for so long.  And usually I like a nice tossed salad.  Soup is good. :)

I don't like salads in winter, either. When it's cold out, I eat a lot of vegetable soups. I still get my veggies in that way.

I could have written this. I feel the same way.

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
