I was looking at the calorie difference in vegetable oil and olive oil. They both (at least my brands) have the same amount of calories. I know that olive oil is supposed to be better for us, but I don't know why. Can someone tell me the difference in all the various kinds of oils and why some are better to use than others? Also, where does butter fit in? Is it better to cook with than other oils or worse?
