Coffee Cup Scamble

The first way I learned to cook eggs was to scramble them in a coffee cup in the microwave.  I've taught all 3 of my kids how to do it as well.

That's awesome! Thanks! I used to... well, still do, make my youngest a fried egg & cut it all up and put it in a cup, thus calling it "an egg in a cup". LOL! She's going to LOVE this!

Me too.  I find the cup so much easier to clean if I coat it with a thin coat of oilve oil.  That stuck on egg can be murder to get off the cup.

Just the thought of microwave eggs makes my stomach turn. I've heard of this recipe before and people go gaga over it but I'd rather just cook my eggs in a pan. LOL

I agree with you Jen.  I know plenty of people who do it, but I'd rather just use a pan!

Good idea!  I always have to soak them forever to get the egg off.

I've never made them in a coffee cup but I made microwave scrambled eggs quite a bit in my younger years.
