Oddly I don't ever buy produce from big stores like that. I go to the local markets around here. I might not have a big verity like the big stores but I can get 4 filled to the brim bags of produce for $15. I miss living in Hawaii though we're certain times of the year people were just giving fruits away cause they produced to much, I miss fresh star fruits and mangos and avocados and applebananas (best banana I have ever had)

We shop everywhere, including farmers markets, farm stands, alternative markets, etc. When spring rolls around we'll be at it again. Yeah i'd miss living in Hawaii too. Our supermarket (and a slew of other produce markets here) have star fruit and dragon fruit, etc. However i'm sure it's NOTHING like the ones you get locally.

I am in Santa Cruz Cty and shop New Leaf in Capitola- LOVE it.
Quoting Alyson121:awww thanks!! We shop at Whole Foods when we can't get to our regular store since there are like a zillion Whole Foods in are area. The store in these pics is called New Leaf Community Markets which is where we do most of our shopping.
