There are no lights on my half of the room.  All we have it Dh's iPhone dock/alarm clock.

I've read this before.   I've seen it  recommended to turn off tv's, computers, cell phone 30 minutes - 1hr before bed... even turn around your alarm clock

I sleep with a sleep mask over my eyes.

I turn around my clock.
