What say you? Can you exercise away a bad diet? Is it self defeating to exercise faithfully and still consume a bad diet?

This is SO true!
The older you get the more important diet is.
I honestly believe this.
Except for when it comes to men. Men just have to *think* "lose weight" and it happens. LOL
that all depends on your end goal I suppose.
to loose weight after the baby I ate anything I want but ran an hr a day and lost 40 pounds in 3 months
Diet and exercise go hand in hand, so I do believe that even though you are exercising regularly, unless you change the way you eat, you won't be as healthy.
This is true.
I have been fixing up my diet. I did well til the holidays. It just a pain in the butt to cook well. Since then we have done a lot better, but now I am fixing up things even more.
I think diet is actually more important than exercise, although they go hand in hand.
I don't totally agree. I think that once you begin to put in the work (exercise) you realize that your eating lifestyle choices are making more work for you and you will begin to change your style of eating.
