I've been MIA for a bit due to one. The medications make me drowsy, to say the least.
I was always under the impression that eating the wrong way led to ulcers. This is SO untrue. Certain foods can aggravate them, but not cause them. I was also under the impression that once you had an ulcer, you always did; this is also untrue. There are many causes for an ulcer, the most usual being a bacteria known as H-pylori. Stress or taking other medications are also cause.
I actually thought I had the Flu. It may be worth looking at the symptoms, at least. Untreated ulcers become harder to heal. Thanks for reading.

Hugs! I'm glad you're feeling better now and thanks for sharing!
Btw, I'm sorry you're going through this. I know its very uncomfortable and a potential lifestyle change. I hope you feel better soon!
I hope your appointment goes well~ let us know! You are correct, even though you feel sick (and in my case, getting sick), you can still feel hungry. I think mine's due to meds, but I can add Pepsid as a supplement. I need to follow up with a specialist. Good luck!

Seriously, I'm freaking shocked to bump into this post... I've been "sick" for the last couple of days and I thought it was getting the flu since I had body aches BUT the kicker here is my stomach... I'm nauseous, but hungry... When I eat I'm full after a couple of bites... I'm having stomach pain too. I mentioned this to my coworker and she immediately said I bet you have an ulcer... I looked up the symptoms and I made a doctors appointment today... I guess we'll find out later.

Until you do see your Dr, you could use Pepcid-AC, I think it's called... the equivalent of Tums. Look at the site to see what to eat. I hope you feel better :)

I think if I do happen to have a an ulcer it'll definitely be stress related. I had a horrible weekend emotionally and this all started Monday. I haven't been right since then. Today I was able to eat some crackers, toast, tea and an apple. I'm hungry though but I'm afraid to eat. I have to be mindful of my food until I see the doc.
