Mysterious bruises

Pardon my gross looking leg, but these bruises have been showing up on my leg for over a week now. I can't for the life of me figure out how I'm getting them. They are on my upper thigh areas. Mostly on This leg but some on the other also. It's so weird. If think if have to hit my leg pretty hard to get those. I've also noticed that I've been even more tired than usual and my joints have been very sore. My fingers and toes have been swelling up a lot. Obviously I need to see a doc and I will ASAP but just curious if anybody had any clues what it could possibly be or had similar experiences.

Omg. :( Sorry about your friend. My uncle passed of leukemia when I was a baby. I plan to get a check up ASAP but haven't been able to go just yet. :(

I lost a friend to Leukemia and his only symptoms for a long time were unknown bruising and joint pain.  Please go get checked out sooner rather than later.

Although I don't think a genetic link has been proven, make sure you mention that to your doctor.

Ya I don't think there has been either, but I will for sure.
