I'm a salad addict so ALWAYS a salad...in the warmer months I try to get in as many fresh veggies as possible like corn on the cob, potato salad, anything that goes with grilled burgers or chicken...In the cooler months mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits...that goes with whatever meat you choose.
I also bake lots of fries or mini tater tots...my kids love those and as long as they're baked, they're good for them~
We have salad and pasta nightly and then a meat and warm vegetable.
My side dishes like salad are also my main dishes. LOL
some kind of rice or mac and cheese, sometimes couscous
My go-to sides are brown rice and mixed vegetables.
