I'm not sure if this is helpful...

But last night I was bored and looking at health/fitness apps. in the app. store on my phone and I found one called the "daily burn". It's free, but if you pay $5 you get a barcode scanner app. add-on that you can use to help track your food.
It reminded me of the picture idea Candice mentioned yesterday. But I don't think you gals have phones like mine, so I'm probably sharing just to share.

I have got a workout in yet. My husband is a baby about going to the dentist and it was worse today because his appt. was at 8 and he is usually sleeping at 8. So I escorted him. Then I figured as long as I was dressed I would grocery shop and pick up my birth control at the pharmacy. I plan to do it this evening instead.
I got fruit! They had cherries, blueberries and big red strawberries in the produce section. I miss fresh fruit during the winter. Frozen does the job too, but it's not the same.

Hope your having a good day. :)

lol, I understood what you meant.

I've seen an add for an app where you can scan barcodes to find prices for that item at other local stores. iphone maybe?

IDK.. but my blackberry doesn't really have any really cool aps :(

I want an iphone, but I won't pay the $$ it would take to get one.

It took me 3 hours to get through a 1 hour workout this morning.. there were so many interuptions from everyone- especially Tre..

Anywho.. I think I'm going to have to look at blackberry's site and see if there are any cool aps that aren't listed in vzw's list on my phone.

I downloaded it (not the barcode scanner, just the app) and was deciding whether or not I wanted to make a switch, but I weighed in at 178 this morning., so now I'm not ready to abandon the other one yet... It does sound like an interesting idea though. I wonder if it actually works well... I haven't found much that wasn't already in the other one's database, but a lot of the none-calorie info is off. That's the only thing I really don't like. Why give me a chart of all the nutritional facts if they aren't accurate?

Does that work? Seems like we're too close to the border for that to be effective. lol.

I did get a workout in. :) Now I should be cleaning, because I think I'm going to shampoo the carpet again tomorrow. :/ I don't like it. I also don't like a dirty carpet, so I guess it's a necessary evil. I swear I'm looking long and hard for a place with tile in our next house.

I hope you can find an app. I get not wanting to get a new phone. Switching mid-contract is expensive.

whenever I can finish tiling we will be almost all tile but the carpet in the living room is one of those carpets you cna't tell if its dirty BUT its UGLY!!!!!! ewww lol so someday this year hopefully Ican dive into tile job #2 I should make time to do it sooner rather then later just in case god forbid somethign happens and i need to try to move and rent this place out cause something happens w my job.. so I guess that means I have until september lol so like 7-8 months ha it SEEMS doable

Ugh...ours is soooo old. It pisses me off actually. I'm used to living in rentals where they almost always replace the carpet, because they want it to look nice. I don't think the people who own this house care at all. The linoleum looks like it is original to the house (built in the 1980s), and the walls haven't been painted in a number of years as well. We took it because we needed a place that was already vacant and there wasn't much to choose from, and every year something happens and we end up signing a new lease....

This year, we have post-poned our decision to move to Vail for another year, because we want to see what dh will be making if he gets a DAC position, and for that same reason we also don't want to "upgrade" to a nicer (more expensive) place either... We did decide to look though, and saw some nicer, newer, bigger houses (over by the mall) for only $150-200 more than we pay now. And that would be awesome, but on the other hand if dh gets a more permanent position here I really would rather settle in Vail than in Sierra Vista, so we would probably just move again soon anyway. So here we are again for another year...

Sorry. Our yearly walk-thru is tomorrow and then we sign another lease and I'm not real happy about it. :/

awww ;( that stinks well its just a year... hopefully he does get the dac position! it will be nice to be stable..but at least by waiting you well get a better feel for your finances AND maybe you can find a even better house? that sucks they don't take care of hte place :/ my property manager for my house in md is all about making sure it looks good before re renting it we repaint and fix the carpet before we put it back to rent... and that is in the ghetto!

Exactly! And we rent through Remax. You would thing a big name co. like that would have higher standards. Oh well. It is just one more year.

Don't make fun... lol. I swear if the ceilings in the livingroom, dining area, and kitchen weren't vaulted I would just pay for some paint and re-do them myself, so I don't have to stare at them for another year.

I really think my brother may be moving here this summer. His lease is up again and he is sick of sharing an apt. with a series of crappy roommates, and his long time girlfriend isn't showing any signs of wanting to be any more serious... This could be the year. (I hope.)
