I'm Jenniy, mommy of 3. My DD is 11, DS1 is 5 and DS2 is 2. I'm almost 29, divorcing, living in Indiana. DD is pretty healthy, but has allergies, DS1 is Near sighted and possibly ADHD, and DS2 is Special Needs. He was born with mulitple brain malformations, and is developmentally delayed. He has a feeding tube and isn't allowed any liquids by mouth. He just started sitting on his own, isn't crawling or walking and is non-verbal, aside from all that, he's a very happy baby.
My mom babysits a 5yro with juvenile diabetes that was just diagnosed wth failing kidneys bc her mom never cared to follow B's diet. She'd let her have all kinds of sugars and then give her a shot to "fix" her elevated blood sugars. Her mom gave her a death sentence. She was told that B now has 5-10 years left.... My mom is heart broken. She's been watching B since she was 1. After I get out to where my mom lives I'm going to start helping with B because I helped my grandma with all her insulin shots and such.
