These comments are from a previous posting I'M VEGAN BUT NOT MY CHILDREN.  The following information is for all to enjoy.

**I would like to say that I am not by far a DOCTOR OF MEDICINE.  But what I am is an expert in my children's health (as far as what I visually and spiritual observe), behavior, education and among many other titles that I take on as their God-giving MOTHER.  I am pro-active with holistic approaches in all areas of life and this works for me and my children.  I will do whatever good it takes to save my children's lives!***

Cafe Mom#1: First off let me open by saying that I do not feed my children a 100% juiced diet.  Juiced fruits and vegetable are included with their meals.  I myself do not have a 100% juiced diet.  I merely should have said that this juiced fruits and vegetables have been an enormous enhancer in my children's diet.

Cafe Mom#2: I do not feed my children a vegan diet because I am still trying to figure out what I can and can not eat as a recent and beginner vegan.  I do not deprive them of meats.  I do however, limit and have eliminated some foods that I used to feed them (MOSTLY PROCESSED/SUGAR).  For example: The more dairy they ate the easier it was to catch a cold and they would have snotty noses for longer periods of time.  This was disguised as "allergies".  Got rid of the dairy and they had NO snotty noses. PERIOD!

Cafe Mom#3: Please simple google PROCESSED FOODS & ASTHMA and you will receive a plethora of information some good, some bad.  Whatever your current perspective is you will be lead to.  I will never try to convince adults to do what I do in my home.  I simple share the information and you can do and say what you will.  God has given me free will, and I choose to will myself to what I consider to be life for me and my children.

Saying that I will provide you with some of many of the small literature, books, and video documentaries that helped me to make a solid decision to modify my diet and my children's diet. Thank you and enjoy!

BOOKS & SMALL LITERATURE

1)  The Eat-Clean diet for Family & Kids by Tosca Reno

One of my favorites before I became vegan, still a favorite that I use for my children.

2)  Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss

This is one of the books that saved my child's life. This is my BIBLE. What I learned from this book alone is that: ASTHMA, PNEUMONIA, BRONCHITIS and other respiratory issues are all mucous forming and related types of infection and diseases that are caused by improper diets which includes: PROCESSED FOODS which has SUGARS/ARTIFICIAL SUGARS which are harmful.

3)  Fresh Vegetables and Fruit Juices: What's Missing in your body?  by N.W. Walker D.Sc.

4)  The Master Cleanser with Special Needs and Problems by Stanley Burroughs

5)  The Natural Way by Dr. Paul Goss

6) Vitamin Bible by Earl Mindell, R.Ph., Ph.D with Hester Mundis

SCIENCE AND NATURE VIDEO DOCUMENTARIES

**Easily found on Netflix**

1)  Frontline: Sick Around the World - Director: John Palfreman

2)  Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead - Director: Joe Cross, Phil Riverstone

3)  FOODS/RAVE DIET - Narrated by Mike Anderson

4)  Deconstructing Supper - by John Bishop, Michael Ableman, Vandana Shiva

5)  The Gerson Miracle by Max Gerson - Director: Steve Kroschel

6)  The Beautiful Truth - Charlotte Gerson, Garrett Kroschel - Directed by Steve Kroschel

Thank you Cafe Moms Enjoy your research!

Thanks :) :).

I have a son with major food allergies.  Because of that, and for my own want to provide him the best, I stick to all natural or organic foods for him.  Because he does have so many food allergies, I cannot go completely vegan with him....that would limit his food choices too much.

That's awesome! Whatever works for you and your child. You are a great mom by providing him with organic foods. That is definitely the best way to go Corrinacs. Would you mind sharing what your son is allergic to? I never met a child with variations of food allergies only adults.  Thank you in advance.
