Probiotic choice????

My dd pedi wants her to start taking a probiotic to help with her stomach aches. Anyone have any recommendations on which brands best.

We buy Align at Sam's club.  I know the probiotics that need to be refrigerated are the best, but we don't have any nice health food stores around here.  :-/

What kind of tummy issues is your daughter having?

as far as we know she is just  lactose intolerant. they want us to try this to see if it help with the tummy aches she keeps getting

 We like BioSalud.  It's 88 cents for a 5 pack at the grocery stores where you can find it, in the yogurt section (we find it on the top shelf) and the flavors we have here are original (which is kind of an orange cream flavor), and strawberry.

 We've tried a few different kinds. You want to make sure it's in the fridge.

BTW, it's pretty cool you have a ped who would recomend a probitotic.

Is she off of dairy?

I don't know your daughter's age, but if you need a powdered probiotic to mix into food/drink, we've liked Nature's Way brand Primodophilus for Children.  The label says it may contain a residual amount of milk or soy protein, so I don't know whether that would be a problem.
