Yesterday, after school I took my son to get a snowcone. While he was having his tasty frozen treat, he suddenly yelled "My brain is frozen, my brain is frozen. Help me mommy, my brain hurts!!" Of course never once did he put the snowcone down....lol After about 20 seconds the pain went away and he went back to eating his snowcone, more slowly this time as I had warned.
I realized that while my older kids know how to, my youngest does not know how to clear a 'brain freeze'. For those who don't know, you press your tongue or thumb to the roof of your mouth.
Do your kids know how to 'clear' a brain freeze?
