Problems with circumcision....

Has anyone had any problems with their son's circumcision? My son is 8 and we've had to go to the doc several times because he's had penile adhesions from his circumscision.....it's been a while since we've had to go (hopefully wont have to anymore) but just wondering....

I'm sorry, we never had issues with our son- I hope you don't have to make any other trips to the doctor!

We didn't circumcise either boy, so no problems, lol.  I do have at least three friends who have had to have their young sons recircumcised due to adhesion issues - it doesn't seem like a big deal, they've all bounced back pretty quickly!   Good luck!

 sorry.... 4 boys and I don't think I've run into it. Although I have one I have to pull back excess skin every once in awhile... the ped. never actually gave me a name and I haven't thought to ask.

I have 2 boys, both circ'd and we have not had any problems.  They are 3 and 5.

I have 2 intact boys. Neither have ever had any problems whatsoever, none of the intact boys I know have problems either. I have heard if a lot of cut boys having adhesions and various other issues though.

My son was Circd by a rabbi, so they do it a little differently, a bit tighter with very little extra skin. If its a loose circumcision, adhesions can happen. I have seen uncircumcised men with adhesions too. I would take him to a pediatric urologist for evaluation and treatment, good luck!!!

nope..my boys are intact with no problems. at 16, & 24 yrs old now, they've never had any kind of problem with being intact.
