Do you worry about 'eye protection' with your children? Do you make sure they have sunglasses on when it's sunny out?

And, for older kids, do they wear eye protection when mowing or running other equipment?

My kids wear sunglasses if we are outside for walks, events, shopping.  But not around the pool or the beach because they cant keep them on.   I wish I could figure out a way to have them keep glasses on more around the pool.  I always have sunglasses on.  ( I spend a little more on good ones to protect my eyes.  I have a friend that works for an eye dr. and she is always reminding me)

Get your kids the OP brand of goggles that have UV protection in blue color so it will cut down the brightness of the sun, and they are also fogless.

They are a must for me by my Cornea Specialist's orders. I love them.

We have sunglasses for DS, but he doesnt like to keep them on for long. It's probably for the best. At his age, they are more likely to get broken than actually worn.

I have to wear them, even on gray cloudy days.  DD2 wears them sometimes, DD1, it is so hard for me to get her to wear them.

My kids won't keep sunglasses on.  The have really long eye lashes and they hit the lenses.  We do big floppy hats instead.  As for eye protection for yard work and such, both of my boys have safety glasses they have to wear if they want to be with Pops in his wood working shop since their is so much saw dust flying out there.

They have sunglasses, but don't keep them on for long.  I just bought a baseball cap for Carter, so hopefully he'll keep that on to help!
