Protecting your child from germs can be tough but it doesn't have to be. We gave 5 CafeMom members one free package of PURELLĀ® Advanced Hand Sanitizer and asked them to try it with their family. With the new advanced formula, one squirt kills as many germs as 2 squirts of any other national brand* while helping to soothe your skin with four different skin conditioners!

Tell us about your kids. How do you protect your family from germs while maintaining healthy skin?

*  Ounce for ounce kills more germs on hands than other national brands. Based on comparative study of average pump bottles using FDA Healthcare Personnel Handwash guidelines. National brands based on 52-week IRI scan data.

Here are some great responses from our CafeMoms!

The little gel wraps have came in handy. The sanitizer that I placed in the back room has been used by ds every time he feeds the animals. He uses it before hand so he doesn't "contaminate" their food. LOL

We use the jelly wraps to carry the small bottles on the side of my purse or diaper bag so when we are on the go we can use a little bit to keep our hands clean!  Also the jelly wraps can be reused just by buying another small bottle of hand sanitizer!

My family has tried it and it works well. I notice my hands are soft after I use it. I have one of the smaller bottles attached to my bag I carry with me when we go out anywhere.

Wash hands constantly!  I am a bit of a fanatic about washing hands!

We use a TTO bar soap and wash our hands frequently.

We do not wash with antibacterial for every day activities.  We use a mild soap and water to wash with.  If we have been outside or petting different animals that are not our cat, we will use hand sanitizer for a quick clean up.

We wash hands regularly and when on the go I tend to use wet wipes but also keep a stash of Purell in my car and purse.  I honestly have different types of soap in the bathroom for hands at any given time, I tend to buy whats on sale!

I use coconut oil to soothe most skin problems and not only does it work but its smells delicious!

we don't use hand sanitizer and we don't use anti microbial soap  UNLESS there is an open wound then we use antimicrobial for 3 days or until new generated skin granulates

I just recieved my Purell package in the mail today. I recieved one 8oz bottle of Purell advanced and two mini bottles with the gel wraps. One is a yellow spongebob that smells a little like pineapple and the other is blue with an ocean kiss scent. They both smell wonderful and the gel wrappers will come in handy when we are out and about without running water. I plan to put the big jar in the mud room where most people enter the house. I have a pre-teen boy that doesn't always find it necessary to wash up so hopefully I can get him to use it. :) I'll update later after we have used it.
