quick question bumps

My 2 1/2,year old was playing and he hit his head on a stone table over 2 weeks ago he still has a rather large bump...how long does if normally take to go away...should I call his pedi...thanks in advance....

Talk about feeling stupid....I was told its just a part of his skull and he's fine...I tried explaining what happened but the Dr thought I was exaggerating...maybe I'm just a paranoid mom...

 Awe, dont worry about it. We've all done something similar at some point. I let my DH convince me once that our 8 month old had swallowed a AA battery in like 2 seconds. Went to the ER, got X-rays and everything. The doctor looked at us like we might be too stuped to actually be parents. LOL

lol...thanks for the reasurance I felt like such an idiot...like omg...my kid is 2 1/2 I comb his hair every day I wash his hair every other day and I don't know what his head feels like....it was one of those moments lol...but as long as he is good I guess thats all that matters... :)he has congenital hypothyroidism so sometimes I think I just panic a little more with him(he was born without a fully developed thyroid)
