My kid's are both getting surgery tomorrow. Well my ds (2 years old) woke up with a runny nose yesterday today I am supposed to take him to his PCP to get cleared......

If it is just a runny nose will they cancel a heria surgery?

Not sure.  I would call and ask his doctor.

I'm not sure either.  If their breathing is affected I would think they'd have to wait and it would be for the best.

I'm not sure either, but I wish you/the kids good luck and a quick recovery.

It depends. We had to get pedi clearance and call if ds came down with any tiny bug/cold/sniffle etc and be cleare again. It can be life threatening to have a sick patient undergo surgery.

I don't know.  Probably a doctor question.

I think only if they are running a fever for general kids.  With asthma kids they are a bit pickier but still wouldn't cancel for a runny nose.
