Cute Warning! Holiday Pajamas You Can’t Resist

http://www.redtri.com/kids/holiday-pjamas?utm_source=contactology&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=All-Cities-Newsletter-2012-11-30

Make it one of your holiday traditions, if you don’t already – holiday PJs for the kids and for the adults too! You don’t necessarily have to go all matchy-matchy on us (although, if that’s your thing, we hear they also make Christmas pajamas for dogs!), but putting everyone in cutesy or cool jammies will, at the least, make sure they aren’t wearing the rattiest pair in their drawer (you know, the ones that are now cropped pants, instead of full-length?), which will bode well for when you attack Instagram and Facebook with pictures of your family opening gifts on Christmas morning! Here are some of our favorites this year – for the girls, for the boys and for your entire family… yes, even the dog.

What are your holiday PJ traditions? Do you open them on Christmas Eve? Does the entire family get matching PJs, or do you buy for individual preferences? We’d love to hear in the comments section below!

FOR THE GIRLS
Just because you’re buying her holiday pajamas, doesn’t mean you have to ditch her “I wear pink and only pink” wardrobe mentality. These Penguin Graphic PJ Sets ($15) and Monkey-Snowman PJ Sets ($15), two adorably pink and perfectly holiday-themed options from Old Navy will satisfy both requirements easily. (Psst! The Monkey-Snowman PJs are also available in blue for boys!)

Naturally, Crewcuts has taken holiday pajamas to the land of chic, with this Long-Sleeve Sleep Set in Snowflake ($53). They are available in both bright plum and navy and are the perfect solution for your girls who are too old for cutesy pajamas, but who aren’t quite ready to let go of this fun family tradition yet.

FOR THE BOYS
What if Santa’s sled was broken? How would he deliver all of the presents to the good boys and girls around the world? By skateboard, naturally! Your little dude will do an ollie (that’s a skateboard trick, by the way…) for these Santa Skateboard PJ Sets ($15) from Old Navy. Although, now he’s also going to want a skateboard for Christmas… so, good luck with that.

And, the next best thing, after Santa on a skateboard, of course, would certainly be dinosaurs wearing Santa hats! Duh! The Dinosaur Print Fleece PJ Sets ($30) from GAP will end any getting ready for bedtime struggles that you’ve been working through lately. How does a T-Rex get his Santa hat on, anyway? Those tiny little arms can’t help!

GO UNISEX
Don’t be ashamed to admit it – it’s going to drive you crazy to have your girls in one style of pajamas on Christmas morning and your boys in another. We know you’re out there, picky moms, and there’s no need to hide behind your laptop screen any longer. Thanks to these cute unisex Little Citizen Pajamas ($39) from Tea Collection, all of your kiddos can sport the same outfits when tearing through their gifts, and even better, these go from size six-months to size 12-years, so even your big and little kids can match!

FOR BABY’S FIRST CHRISTMAS
The only thing that’s cuter than a kid in holiday PJs is a baby in holiday PJs for their first Christmas! You’re tilting your head to the side and saying “ahhh” just thinking about it, aren’t you? Grab some of these while you’re grabbing other gifts at Target this holiday season – the JUST ONE YOU Made by Carters Reindeer Fleece Sleep N’ Play Pajamas ($9, online price) are perfect for little boys or little girls who are celebrating for the first time this year.

Going personalized is a great option for their first Christmas, so that after they grow out of those PJs, you can tuck them away to save them… you know, to pull out when they bring home that first really special boyfriend or girlfriend? Etsy seller Nicole Troccoli of Sweet Stuff for Kids, makes adorable and completely customizable Personalized Holiday Pajamas ($26) for little ones that you will cherish (and use for embarrassment!) for years to come.

FOR ALL OF YOU… INCLUDING THE DOG
Hanna Andersson is known for their matching family pajamas and every time that holiday catalog arrives in your mailbox, which is often in August, by the way, it’s always a good time to sit down, flip through the glossy pages, and imagine everyone from Dad to Baby dressed in matching Hannas on Christmas morning. If you are matching pajama virgins, start easy with the classic Organic Cotton Long John Pajamas in Stripes.
