Face rash?

My LO (5 months) has just started getting a rash on his chin and cheeks in the evenings the last couple nights. With the chin, I figured it was just from drool but it's in both cheeks also. It doesn't seem to be bothering him much but I wondered what you ladies think. What can I put on it with him so young and what could be causing it? I'll see if I can get a pic and put it below...

Oh, and no new foods, detergents, etc.

Sorry, can't do a pic-on mobile and my pics are full

I thought maybe eczema too, but I don't know what I can put on it or if it's a rx and need to call doctor to get something?

It could be from the drool and if the weather is cold, could be irritating the skin?  I think I'd call the Dr. to make sure what is okay to use.  =-)

I would keep his face smeared with aquaphor 24/7 for the rest of the winter.

It could be just from the weather.  I would try coconut oil.  Unrefined works wonderfully!

Coconut oil is very gentle--put some in his food, too. Is he eating anything new? Is it possible that some of his laundry didn't rinse out as well as usual?

I agree, try coconut oil!

My boys got rashes around their mouths and cheeks when they used a pacifier!

He doesn't use his pacifier much anymore and he's not outside much but it may be because of the weather. We haven't started solids yet since he's only 5 months and EBF still. I'll try the coconut oil and aquaphor and see of those help. Thanks so much ladies!!!
