Kids' Health Kids' Health
Hi, I was thinking of devoting one cabinet in my kitchen to health and sick day staples. Since I was choosen as an influencer and sent Children's Mucinex coupons I have stocked up and looking to add other items. So, please tell me what do you recommend as a STAPLE for our kids health.

So far I have:

Gummy vitamins
Acetaminophen
Children's Mucinex
Bandages
Crackers

Honey (local)

probiotics ....keep refrigerated is best kind.

This... But we also have herbal teas for colds and I keep eucalyptus essential oil on hand for the humidifier.

It's a great anti-viral and excellent immune support. It can be taken regularly as immune support, but it's sort of expensive for that, for us. We use it at the first sign of cold / flu, or if we know we've been exposed to something, like if a kid at the sitters goes home with some virus or something.

We have a mix of home/natural remedies and modern medicine.

Honey (we like it more for wound dressing than even for coughs)

Black tea (good for when asthma is flairing)

Elderberry syrup

probiotics

Melatonin

Berry Rain Gaterade (by far the best tasting gaterade)

Muncinex Multi-symptom for Children - one of the few cold medicines that are labled for children

Motrin

Cipro drops for when ear tubes are draining

Albuterol

Pulmicort

Provent

Immodium for Kids

And since my kids are pukers with their asthma, I have "puke packs" in my bedroom.  Our bedroom are across the hall from the kids which is just down the hall from the bathoom.  My kids ALWAYS puke in the middle of the hall so you either have long jump over it or ruin a pair of shoes stepping thru it.  So no I have puke packs.  It has cheapo $1 flipflops I can toss treat as disposables, exam gloves, a roll of paper towel a trash bag, and a face mask since I am a gagger at the smell of puke.  When I hear a kid crying followed by the sound of puke hitting hardwood floors, I jump up grab my puke pack out of the night stand and I am good to go.  I keep about 4 made up at a time since I have needed 3 in one night before.  That was a bad night....
