I was when i personally went but it was on the dentist end not insurance end .
Our insurance for the dentist is pretty good so far but we haven't had any major work done.
for regular cleanings we are good, we don't pay anything extra, but for any dental work it is awful!
There is lots of cost shifting going on with insurance plans with more cost going to the patient. Our annual max was $5000 was 15 years ago - now its only $1000. And 15 years ago, a crown costs $500 and now they cost $1000. So one major restoration and your entire benefit for the year is gone. =/

We get 2 cleanings a year adn then we have to pay a percentage of work done. It can get expensive knock on wood
Ours has paid for everything. No co-pay or anything. I know we don't have the best insurance but its pretty good-my husband works for a hospital.
