CafeMom Answers has a Credits system that is used to reward positive contributions to the community (as well as to penalize "bad" behavior).
There are two types of credits:
- Core Credits are based on the things you do, such as posting questions and answers, Bumping questions, and voting up answers.
- Extra Credits are based on how other users rate your contributions. For example, you get Extra Credits when your questions are Bumped or one of your answers is selected as the Best Answer.
Here are the main ways to earn (and lose) credits:

Extra Credits

Notes:
- You will not gain Credits for anonymous questions and answers.
- We will use our discretion to give out (or remove) Credits for other actions that help or hinder the Answers community.
