Hi. My name is Hilary. I am trying to lose the baby weight. I weigh in at 177lbs. I would like to get down to 135lbs. eventually, but think I will just start slow. :] Anyone in? Each week (or every two) we can "weigh in" and we can also keep in contact to support each other, let each other know what we ate, how much, if we have anything we would like to share with each other, just anything. :) I am excited to start losing and be able to play with my kid without being so worn out after. Sign and let me know what you think.
Sure I'm in...Im not posting my weight but I will post what I've eaten/exercised and pounds lost hopefully.

im in too i would like to lose 20 pounds as well im currently at 130
My husband leaves for Korea Next month and I wanted to start d lose 30lbs in 6 months. It would be nice to have someone else to talk to and keep me motivated.... Would love to do this with you....

The hardest thing for me is my husband. I want to steer away from carbs (pasta, bread, etc) and he loves that stuff. I love pasta, but I am going to try eating lots of fruit and veggies. My "diet" plan is:
1)Drink ONLY water or tea. (Coffee in the morning - one cup only)
2)Snack on fruit/veggies.
3)Eat a full bowl of fiber cereal in the morning.
4)If I get hungry at night, before bed, I will eat an apple or yogurt.
Here are some things you can try:
- Put yogurt in the freezer. Then you have "frozen yogurt" and you eat it slower. AND it tastes so good.
- Breakfast: Spread some Peanut butter on a tortilla and roll a banana in it. It tastes pretty good.
- If you like lunch meat and would rather eat a sandwich at least twice a week, get lean meats and use ketchup to substitute for mayo.

I think that is a wonderful idea. I need the motivation and working with a group such as this so us girls can track our losses is a great start. I need to weigh myself, something I hate to do but I am about 178 and at least want to get down to 155. This last 20 pounds have been such a challege. Let us know what day you want to try to weigh in.
Lets try to weigh in next Friday girls. (We can put lbs lost, or current weight and your new weight) If we lose at least 1 to 2 lbs. we will be on a good start.
be careful what fruits you are snacking on some are better than a=others the tart ones are always better. If you go to GNC they have a section of energy boosting vitamins just for women i take a packett of those everyday and they really do help and before you go to bed drink green tea a goodsnack is almonds
Hi my name is Nicole and I am trying to lose the baby weight too. I have 14 lbs to go to get to where I was pre-pregnancy but I wanted to lose weight even then so 20lbs would be great! I'm 5'11" and currently weigh 189.
I am cutting out most carbs and exercising on my hour lunch break.
For Breakfast I have a protein drink that is very high in protein and low in sugar. Then for a snack I have a hard boiled egg or string cheese.
For Lunch I usually make a salad with grilled chicken or make a sandwich with the new 100 calorie whole wheat bread things that just came out, mustard only and turkey and a slice of cheese and lettuce.
For Dinner I love fish and a Vege, but I switch it up, can't have fish every night. I have chicken and pork and occationally red meat. But I always have just the meat and vege's. No Carbs. I make my husband rice or potatos to go along with dinner but I don't eat it, sometimes I sneak a bite so I don't feel completely deprived.
I have been doing this for 3 weeks so far and have lost 6 lbs but I wasn't exercising everyday so now I'm trying to step it up.
Yes, a good snack is almonds. I almost forgot about those. I like to get the mix with dark choc., cranberries, almonds, and raisins. Thanks for the tip. I love green tea. I take a multivitamin, I want to start taking omega-3 as well.
