I have had a juicer for some time now and yes it has been sitting in the box instead of getting used. I was wondering if anyone has any good recipes for juicing and has anyone been successful with this as a weight loss strategy ? I will be starting today and will keep you guys posted on my progress. Please wish me luck especially with the holidays coming uurrgghh!!!
i had this whole plan that i was going to juice 2 or 3 days a week, bough all sorts of stuff that i would never eat (bc many veggies you can't taste when you add a piece of fruit) and was all ready to be on my way....i made my first juice and almost gagged.... i couldn't get over the texture of it. (i have issues, i can't even eat yogurt or pudding).
it just wasn't for me.... gave the juicer to my sister (i believe it is collect ing the dust on her counter top now).
They say that people never get all the fruit or veggies in per day that they should so if you juice them you take it in all at once. I did start and it's a process let me tell you. It does not taste as bad as I thought, but it still takes some getting use to. My husband has been doing it for years and really wanted me to get started. I have to say that it does give you more energy. But like I said it is a process...LOL
