I am new to the group and I have been trying the zone diet. I hate it I would rather do weight wachers or just count calories. I find it complicated and hard to keep up with.
I heard weight watchers has a great suppurt system. I never counted cals or anything when I went to lose weight. I just made sure had a protein at each small meal and a complex carb for atleast four of them and healthy fats, Like nuts and such. I hate complicated stuff. What is it like?
I don't know anything about the zone diet, but I think weight watchers would be a great idea if your need some type of structure. I did weight watchers before, but i couldn't afford it after a while. I learned how to eat better through their program. I use that on a daily basis, although I don't track points. I know more or less now what i can eat and how much. If you need to switch your diet plan, do it soon. That way you don't lose focus and I'm sure it would be much more motivating doing something you actually understand. I wish you luck and hope you succeed!!!
the zone diet is 30% protein 20% good fats and the rest in good carbs. The goal is to keep your insulin levels level all day. I have a hard time eating all the veggies and I love veggies. It is very hard for me to be disciplined. you also have two snacks with a protein a carb and a fat. you are never supposed to let more than five hours go by without eating
I take Juice Plus it is awesome it is filled with the essentials we need from juices and vegis and helps control insulin levels.
